Industrial Engineer
Responsibilities
Own the development and maintenance of the Commonization Matrix
Co-own the development of the Manufacturing Sequence Chart by partnering with MSD IEs
Act as liaison between platform architecture team and Manufacturing System Design Team (Manufacturing System Architect, MSD IEs, Process SMEs)
Partner with the Platform System Architect, GCD and MSD team to optimize architecture design that balances product differentiation and manufacturing complexity
Enable trade-offs within and between the industrial and technical strategy
Participate and provide key input into the set based concurrent design concept selection filter
Work with Platform System Architect to balance form complexity (design for manufacturing and part proliferation) and function trade-offs (performance)
Optimize material cost, complexity cost, conversion cost and capex
Must Have Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Must Have Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Industrial Engineering experience in both manufacturing and applied IE
Proven development and execution experience
Demonstrated Project Management experience
Ability to proactively manage complexity
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence others
Technical coaching abilities a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Google Tools preferred
